Capitals and Covid: how Londoners and Parisians see their cities in light of the pandemic

Posted on September 14, 2021

What’s the future for two of Europe’s biggest capitals after a year and a half of lockdowns and crisis?

King’s College London, Université de Paris and Ipsos MORI have carried out a major survey of Londoners and Parisians, looking at how Covid has shaped city life, how it’s impacted people’s priorities and future plans, and whether it’s changed perceptions of the two cities.

From housing and transport to climate change, crime, harassment, quality of life and more, we explore how residents of each capital see their city in light of the pandemic and how they think it will bounce back from the disruption. Join our panel to discuss the findings.

The events are part of a major partnership between King’s College London and Université de Paris.
