On April 6, 2022, a discussion session will be held at the Centre des colloques organized by the Cahiers du genre, on translation issues and intersectionnality in the contemporary intellectual and political French context.
The discussions will take the form of two successive round tables:
- The first on Kimberlé W. Krenshaw’s texts recently (re)translated into French in three different versions
- The second will let intersectionnality specialists shed light on the usage they make of this notion in our current context marked by its dissemination and controverse, in the “public debate” and within humanities and social sciences
