Current Project

I am currently working on the transformation of my dissertation into a book manuscript.

The book will cover the history of the California Camera Club and its impact on the visual identity of the American West around the 1900s.

  • Dissertation title: ‘Out here it is different’ – The California Camera Club and community imagination through collective photographic practices. Toward a critical historiography, 1890-1915.
  • 2014-2018 – teaching assistant (creative writing, American art, and translation), Department of English, Université Paris Diderot
  • Since September 2019 – teaching assistant (American history, translation), Department of Applied Languages, Université Paris Nanterre.
