Sandeep is a Senior Lecturer in Decolonial, Postcolonial and Queer Studies at Université Paris Cité. In this wide-ranging episode, Sandeep spoke candidly about his research interests and our own struggle for social justice. His educational practices are never removed from movements of resistance. The so-called modern world spends a lot of time with media that don’t give us the whole truth, and I totally agree with Sandeep that we who are academics and/or practitioners have the responsibility of defining that difference. We should never be disassociated from a critique of the political and social realities that impact on and create impediments to a fair open and inclusive education and society.
