Louise Roszak is an alumna of the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris Saclay. She obtained her agrégation in English in 2021. Recipient of a doctoral contract with the LARCA (UMR 8225) research centre, she is currently writing her PhD under the supervision of Ladan Niayesh at Université Paris Cité. Her research focuses on post-gender adaptations of Shakespeare from theatrical staging to hyper-contemporary media. A sample of her previous work on Hamlet is forthcoming in an essay co-authored with Ladan Niayesh, “Elsinore (2019) Video Game: An Interactive Experience in Reforming Gender Roles” in Actes des Congrès de la Société Française Shakespeare 41 (2023).
